Continuing the relationship with the Coalition for the Homeless, Maika updated the graphic identity of their fundraiser ARTWALK NY once again. Inspired by the vibrant shades of Marina Adams and Stanley Whitney’s artworks (2018 ARTWALK NY's Artist Honorees), the logo was reimagined as a patchwork of colors. Maika designed a 50 pages auction catalog, invitation package and signage.
Founded in 1981, Coalition for the Homeless is the oldest not-for-profit advocacy group focused on homelessness in the United States. ARTWALK NY brings together hundreds of artists, art-lovers and other compassionate New Yorkers to celebrate the role of “artist-as-activist” and raise awareness about the issues of homelessness, poverty and social justice.
