Founded in 1981, the Coalition for the Homeless is the oldest not-for-profit advocacy group focused on homelessness in the US. Their annual fundraiser ARTWALK NY brings together hundreds of artists, art lovers, and other compassionate New Yorkers to celebrate the role of “artist-as-activist” and to raise awareness about the issues of homelessness, poverty, and social justice in the city.
Inspired by the vibrant shades of Marina Adams and Stanley Whitney’s artworks, the 24th event identity served as a patchwork made of color, expanding and reshaping throughout the visual narrative.
